Room 6, located on the ground floor of the rear building, was a modern, clean, and quiet space at night. It featured a king-size bed with a comfortable mattress and quality bedding, air conditioning, a hairdryer, and tea and coffee facilities with biscuits. There were USB sockets next to the bed, as well as free Wi-Fi and parking available. The meals served in a separate building from the pub were delicious and very affordable, with a wide menu selection that included vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Breakfast was also quite good. The staff was fantastic, making the stay exceptional for the price. I paid just £50 for a double room on a Friday night.
service the staff was very warm and welcoming and gave excellent service, ordering and brought both drinks and meals. quality refreshing tanqueray gin, elderflower tonic, ice cucumber is a beautiful glass. quality roast beef, fresh vegetables, cooked and beautifully presented on a hot dish. the sue were raised on request. general the facility, fresh and spacious bar/restaurant was super clean. we live 15 miles away and have every intention to return with friends. Thank you for giving what they promise.
Perfect stay! The front desk and bar staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during check-in. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard and were very comfortable. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the pub, and the food was delicious—especially the cakes and mashed potatoes, which were the best we've ever had. The waiting staff were delightful and very attentive. We’ve since moved to the area and frequently recommend this establishment to family and friends.
