Anthony, the owner, came to our table and took great care of us. He really made it a comfortable environment for all of us to dine in. Pete and Andre were very personable and accommodating waiters. They listened to all of our orders perfectly and did exactly what we told them to do. We had the lobster raviolis and calamari as appetizers and each dish was great. The food was nice and hot and evenly cooked. The entrees were amazing as well. I highly recommend the tortellini if you decide to come. Everything about Strega, the food, service, and ambiance was phenomenal 5/5 will come back again!

A M A Z I N G!!!. I live in Berkeley Heights, but work in Manhattan, so I often eat in some of the best restaurants in the area. I was just at every Italian restaurant in NJ and NY and nothing compares with Strega. The dishes are prepared with an authenticity that can not be pampered elsewhere with its fancy aromas and a beautiful presentation. I've taken friends and clients here many times, and I've been all over the food. The fact that it is BYO adds a beautiful touch to the traditional Italian feeling, while the atmosphere connects in a modern Manhattan Lounge Vibe. Just amazing!!

Absolutely loved the food. The way that they prepare the calamari is exceptional. It's BYOB which keeps the prices reasonable. Make sure you have a reservation, especially on a popular night like Thursday, Friday or Saturday because the tables don't turn over much. People tend to have lingering dinners. The owners are friendly and spend time talking to the guests.

We have had multiple family celebrations here and the service is always hospitable, pleasant, and kind. The food speaks for itself: delicious and fresh and updated Italian classics.

Like many great restaurants this place is very unassuming from the outside. The food was excellent! Staff was very polite and knowledgeable. Worth the 75 min drive from my house.

This food is really good. BYOB. The duck was fantastic, the tiramisu was top tier, and the burrata was delicious. Best food I’ve had in months. 10/10
