Cafe Streuli is located at the end of Tram line #15/16 Bruderholz. There are walking trails and a park nearby. This cafe with friendly staff is here to take care of all your needs. There is a great selection of fresh breads, pastries, cakes, chocolates, sweets/snacks and more. There are no milk substitute products on the menu. Everything looked mouth-watering good. I opted for the plum dessert, which was a nice serving size and a cup of tea. The place does a very good take out business. There is a postal drop service, clean restrooms, newspapers, magazines. and more that await you here at this lovely place
as a good knower of the basler caffe scene I can confirm the above statement. next to a large cup with coffee gives a right handsome hot milk - together a beautiful amount. the cafe is small and can be seen from outside only as bakery/confectionery. which are not on site, but by the own produced bakery and confectionery goods are carefully prepared and of good quality. for the little lunch there is also a hot dish daily, style lasagne with salat. contempt between ten and eleven - the basler season of the cheese - this is locally occupied with many older women who are not always quite calm.

Had a steak, quite big size, with french fries and vegetables, a glass of 2 of a more than acceptable red wine and enjoyed the smile of the charming bartender.
This was a nice delicatessen place attended by locals so you hear lots of Swiss German. Nice and quiet inside. Service is quick and English spoken.
This is a competely unpretentious pastry shop. I had a chocolate croissant (for takeaway) here that was one of the best I've ever had.
If you want to have a typical German kleine Kaffee Cafe Streuli is the ideal place. Vert nice the inner part.
