“Energetic” noise level means “LOUD”, but Open Table doesn’t have a choice for that... It’s loud in this place. Not because it was crowded, but because the decor is “live” with no sound baffles. There was a group of women at the next table cackling like sorority girls the whole time we were there. Not the restaurant’s fault, but annoying nonetheless when you’re out trying to have a date night with your love... But everything else about this place is superb! Food is always good. Experience was terrible. Despite spending thousands of dollars in the past on a program designed to get customers try different vodkas, I was told that the program was discontinued and was dismissed without any regard to my previous patronage. We departed without ordering food or drink and will not be back. Moreover, I will steer all of my business customers away from this restaurant and Gamlin Whiskey house.
Had a vodka and soda, but you were out of Tito’s and the soda was flat. The waitress was very accommodating. Food was decent and the carrot cake was amazing. We sat in the dining room rather than the bar where we normally sit. Maybe that is why the ambience wasn’t as fun and energetic as it usually is. All in all, this place is pretty consistent food and service-wise
The drinks and food are just okay but the service we had was very good and overall we had a lot of fun celebrating my friend's birthday. We ended up having one extra person from the 6 we had booked for and they were accommodating and kind. It's definitely a little pricey for the quality of food/drinks you receive but worth the trip for a birthday night out.

Brought my daughter here for her birthday they sat us by the door which was drafty. We didn’t receive water until we asked for it. The service was very mediocre. The behavior of the waitress and other hostesses was like they did not like their jobs. I have been here in the past and this was the first time the service was so poor. Very disappointing.
The food and service were great. I had never been and wasn't quite sure....I would definitely go back. I'd say a semi-casual place. Good with friends or to even to take a date. I'm a vodka fan and the choices were amazing!!! Sushi was tasty and the person I took loved the hamburger
Such a well established area of Saint Louis to dine and drink within! Nothing but a solid bar scene here! Great service and friendly people!
As good Shusi as I've ever had. The Shusi **** Mary is the best BM I've had. Service was fine. I recommend it!
