I recently stayed in Absecon and was searching for a nearby restaurant when I came across reviews for Sublime Seafood. As a Long Island native, I was initially skeptical but decided to give it a try. After a short 12-minute drive, I was blown away. The small restaurant, located in a shopping center, is definitely worth the visit. Inside, there are cute bistro tables for a casual dining experience, and outside there are nice tables to enjoy the summer evening. Found this place on yelp. I got the shrimp po boy and it was really good: big portion, reasonable price, bread is crispy, the shrimp is crispy with good flavor and the dressing taste good and slightly spicy. It's not the typical po boy, the shrimps are flattened and has a crispy breading and then made into a sandwich. It took awhile to make it but not too long. I was there at 3:30pm and I'm the only customer. I'm wondering if the wait will be longer if there are more customers. I got the Manhattan clam chowder as well and it was good but I had better. Don't forget to bring your own bottle to this restaurant! I'm not sure how they promote it, but being able to bring your own drinks is a major plus in my book. It's even better when combined with a fantastic dining experience! I've visited this place twice now and have been pleasantly surprised by the high quality of food they serve. You can tell that the chef puts a lot of effort into each dish and takes pride in their work. The bacon-wrapped crab cakes are outstanding, with a generous amount of crab and a delicious taste. My family was heading north from a week in Cape May, looking for something good for lunch, and a chance detour to avoid parkway traffic lead us here. One guy was doing the whole shebang, but was cheerful and helpful. 3 of us got the cod sandwich with bacon, lettuce and tomato, one got the crab cake sliders and one the shrimp scampi. The cod sandwich was one of the best we have had; Crispy and moist and flavorful. Lobster Mac and cheese was very good (although you don't get a lot, it is very rich, so you don't need much. My party visited this restaurant on Tuesday evening and were welcomed by the owner, Charles. His hospitality was friendly and welcoming. We began with the lobster tater tots and immediately knew we had made the right decision in choosing this restaurant. We then ordered the shrimp PO boy and grilled salmon, both of which were made fresh and presented beautifully. We will certainly return on our next visit to Brigantine!

I ordered a small soup for $8, but it came without any accompaniments. The soup was disappointingly not even filled to the top of the container. I had hoped for better service and food. I work nearby, so this could have been a chance for the restaurant to gain a repeat customer, but I will not be coming back.

Went here for lunch one day! This was a great little spot with fresh seafood. We got the fish sandwich and the shrimp po'boy sandwich, both were excellent! The place was very clean and was a cute environment. We will return!
