On August 31, 2023, I found myself at the Subway restaurant in Oftringen, Switzerland, accompanied by a Muslim friend. For around 25 Swiss francs, we opted for the all-you-can-eat offer. The ambience of the establishment could not convince. There was a lack of both cleanliness and an attractive interior. The walls showed significant soiling and the dining area did not appear to be well looked after as tables were left untidy. However, an employee of Brazilian provenance, although friendly and very personable, caused a significant mishap. Update August 1, 2022 To date we have not received a voucher that was promised to us under this post, it was probably just written that it looks good..!! Today, May 8, 2022 at around 12:15 p.m The lady with black hair served us again, unfortunately very unfriendly again today... when my partner pointed out to her (like the last time) not to toast the chicken sandwich with the same program as the salami sandwich, She was apparently completely overwhelmed... she put a sandwich in the oven and called her employee to continue serving us... she then disappeared into the kitchen. After we complained to her friendly employee, she only had us very bossy looks thrown at us... we find this very unprof...
Yesterday at 9:45 p.m. I got to the subway, at about 9:53 p.m. the lady was there, since she didn't make any sandwiches because she had to get there at 10 p.m. Pretty quick, there are a lot of different things! And what's more, it's done extremely slowly and unmotivated. She would have done a nice job if she had served everyone. And 10 minutes overtime won't hurt anyone! Very unprofessional behavior!
The staff is very friendly and the food is always great. I particularly liked the wedges as a side dish To the people who have recently left a 1 star review, always with the same text: It's super embarrassing when you try to get a free meal using a fake review. Kaffeepause während Ladehalt.Leider im Moment kein Kaffeerahm verfügbar. Angestellte gab mir den Tip, ich könnte versuchen an der Bar des Kinos ein Rähmli zu erfragen. Obwohl ich der einzige Kunde war, wartete sie lieber weiter auf Gäste, anstatt selber etwas zu organisieren.Wenn man schwarzen Kaffee mag: er war geniessbar.
No one expects a gourmet dish from the subway, but a vegan sandwich (with our without spicy vegan patty) from this chain is quite decent and can be very diverse. the patty is not hot by the way. vegan labelling should be improved, although only one labeled sauce, no labeled brot.
