I placed an order and decided not to get a drink from their limited selection. The employee then told me the cup I had touched might have been used for a meal. I replied that was exactly why I chose not to take a drink. I found her comment to be unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. I wasn’t aware they had a limited juice selection, and since I don’t drink soda, I felt my choice was reasonable. Because of this experience, I won’t be returning to this Subway.

Very unprofessional experience. I wouldn’t recommend this Subway. The one on Main Street in Martinez is much better. Their hours are listed as 9am-8pm, but when I arrived at 7pm, the employee with facial hair was rude and told me they were closed. If Subway is going to be closed early, they should at least put a note instead of showing as open and then turning customers away.

I waited alone in Subway while an employee focused on preparing four online orders as my stomach growled. Now I’m hangry and walking out. It feels like they prioritize online orders over customers in-store. Take this as a warning—better to go somewhere else.
