Today I was craving Subway. Not Wawa or QuickCheck, but Subway. It had been years since I last visited. As a vegan, I don't often go to these kinds of places, but Subway holds a special place in my heart. I used to frequent it when I was vegetarian, ordering a sub with egg patty for protein, spinach, red onions, and BBQ sauce. Those were some great memories. I had hoped that in 2021, I would find a vegan protein option on the menu, but unfortunately, that was not the case.
