I like sandwiches on hot days. Something cool and fresh. Actually, I love a good sandwich almost every day. The subway is one of my places. This is on Marguerite Pkwy. in the Plaza next to the fireplace. If you turn north on the car, turn right at the fireplace, go to the road and make the first right. You can't miss the subway. I mention this because some of these have found a little tricky. Subway has changed the menu a little, and they have a new offer called Pro. Apparently the word meat is insulting for some people, so menu says extra protein. It means double meat. I won't let you know. I decided to give the pro an attempt and was not disappointed. I think I was the All American Sub. Maybe. It was really good. It is also expensive because of double meat, about $15. For a sandwich. Expect these types of prizes with many places to pay $15 an hour for jobs that were $8 or $9 before pandemic. Hey, I'd have increased a raise in my Jack days when I made $1.75 and hour. A pleasant surprise on my sandwich was bacon, and what I felt was a fair amount. Bacon is a treat for me, my wife doesn't leave me much. Did I think that or say it loud? Yeah, I actually listen to my wife. My wife's 5' and I'm 6'2. She's sweet like sugar, never screams. But somehow I always seem to end, not to eat bacon and stuff. Think. You can have the bacon separately heated from your sandwich, and if you have cold bacon (very medieval) I suggest you. It's precooked, so I'm not worried about you, things, I like a warm bacon. I had my meat and American cheese on Italian bread, you choose what you want. Then my nice warm bacon. Metro is very cool about toppings, so if you want more of something, just ask them. Olives came now. Many olives. Onions, peppers, then tomatoes. Now for the tricky piece. A spiced sauce, and they have some interesting choices, or much af salad and my standard double intake of oil and vinegar? Tradition won and oil and vinegar it was. I was looking for a very nice looking sandwich with affection. The other person wanted the fried chicken sandwich, and I'll have it soon. It is roasted and looks drawn, it looks great and also tastes good. I know because I could bite. No, I didn't steal it. I was offered a bite and didn't even hesitate. There are some sweet-tangy sauces I think would be really good with the chicken. The roasted chicken is kind of new, so be sure you don't look with the chicken patty roast chicken. You want the pulled chicken to look for you. It was about $27 for two big sandwiches, but you could get two meals from a big one. Sometimes not. Mom got two out, so cool. Subway has pastrami available, the way comes and goes. I don't know how long it's available. Maybe Subway wants to compete with Jersey Mike a bit more, another favorite. Mike's doesn't have the choice Subway, but they make a great sandwich. It's a good place to get a Philly cheese steak. Point 17. I love a good sandwich. If you're in LA, see the alley on the 6th and Hill. In the end, you have to go to the hidden Deli. Go on and get the amazing sandwich of your choice on bread that will be the standard you judge other sandwich rolls. Take a loaf home now. Yeah, that's a crusty bread. Tell them Morg sent you. You'll thank me for that.
