South Alabama's Subway has unfortunately declined in quality. The vegetables are now sliced paper-thin, and the bread feels overly dry and crumbles easily. I've experienced an upset stomach after eating there, requiring a quick dash to the restroom. The cleanliness of the restaurant could use improvement, especially concerning the food counters, which are often cold and not safe for food. The cheese and meat seem old and dry, while the lettuce has a slimy texture and smells off. The tomatoes are unripe, yellowish-orange, and far from fresh. I really love Subway, but they need to step up their game when it comes to cleanliness and the quality of their ingredients.
