I’m pretty sure this store was sold to a new owner. The quality has consistently gone done in at least the last 6 months. I found an extremely long hair in my sub and they simply offered to make another one. Seems to be the same 2 new Canadians working there most of the time that just speak in their own language while you 're trying to order. This used to be an awesome go to subway years ago. With the most probable new management and the new employees from countries that don’t have the same food service standards of Canada are really ruining it quick. Saturday nov 30 I showed up to Acton subway and open sign was on and when I walked in the 2 Indian workers were just taking off there coats and , said to me to give them some time to set up , after about 8 min I got called to order ! LONG STORY SHORT TOASTER WASENT READY BUT SHE DECIDED TO PUT MY SANDWICH IN ANWAYS TO “WARM UP “ , NO HAIR NETS , brown lettuce ! SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND CHOSE A DIFFERENT LOCATION (THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME IAV HAD FAMILY AND FRIENDS ALSO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SAME 2 individuals ! SHOUTOUT TO THE OLDER WHITE LADY WITH THE DRAGON FLY TATTOO WHO IS READY TO GO AND OPEN TO SERVE CUSTOMERS ON HER OPENING SHIFTS
This place has gone downhill. Went in today. No spinach, as they said it is too expensive . Yea, my sub is expensive too. No fountain pop. The lettuce slimy and black pieces. The bread tastes old. The cold cuts do not look like the usual subway stuff, all folded up weird and tastes different. The owner seems to be cutting corners and leaving the employees to explain. This location use to be great. Now I will be driving to Guelph.
I can't believe how this place has changed. I ordered two subs, and the two women behind the counter seemed to serve me reluctantly. One of them muttered something in her own language, and I could have sworn she called me the N-word. What is going on here? This is the first time I've encountered racism in Acton.
Tonight, after a long day at work and a workout, I stopped by Subway. I was feeling really tired, but Raj was full of energy and asked me about my day. She had such a personable demeanor and really made my friend and me laugh! She definitely brightened my day! Thank you, Raj!
