I went in to grab a sandwich after unloading my truck and noticed a sign on the door stating that all customers were required to wear masks due to Covid-19. I was okay with that, but I was surprised to find that I was the only person wearing one. There were nearly a dozen people in the store, with at least seven waiting in line for Subway, and nobody else was wearing a mask—this included two employees making sandwiches and one staff member at the gas station. I decided to leave because the last thing I want is someone who isn't taking Covid-19 seriously handling my food. I believe the state health department should shut them down. This was on November 22nd at 12:30 PM.

When I went to get a sandwich after scaling my truck, I was informed at the door that all customers must wear masks due to Covid-19. I had no problem with this, but I was the only person wearing a mask. There were nearly a dozen people in the area, including at least seven in line for Subway, and no one else was wearing masks—not even two employees making sandwiches or a worker running the shell station. I left because the last thing I wanted was to have my food prepared by someone who doesn’t care about preventing the spread of Covid-19. The state health department should consider closing this place. This happened on November 22 at 12:30 PM.
At this Subway, there was a blonde girl working. My teammates and I were starving after not eating all night due to a basketball game, so we stopped by. However, the employee refused to make our sandwiches, apparently because she was too lazy. While I understand they were short-staffed, making sandwiches isn’t difficult, especially with experience. This behavior felt very unprofessional. The worker even said, "If I have to serve all of you, then I'm closing because I don’t want to," even though only a few of us wanted sandwiches. I will be contacting management about this, especially since it wasn’t anywhere near closing time!
The day before, my boss called ahead to pre-order lunch for our group. However, we ended up waiting an extra 35 minutes for our meal due to some issues with the order. Initially, there was a problem with being charged $95 for three extra boxes of sandwiches, but after discussing it with a manager, it was resolved. However, when we received the three sandwich boxes, they included biscuits and vegetables, but there wasn't enough variety. Additionally, the order was missing banana peppers and some other toppings.
I was hungry and ready to eat, but the man informed me that there were four orders ahead of mine. I understand the situation, but they could definitely use some extra help. I also tried placing an order online, only to be told later that they never received it. With a few improvements, this place could be a great spot to grab a sandwich.
This restaurant could benefit from more staff on certain days. It's located at a truck stop and tends to be quite busy. Out of the three Subway locations I've been to, I think this one is the best, thanks to its fantastic employees. In a few months, they will be introducing new salad options. Exciting times ahead!
