Sugar Chic Bakery

I 'm sure the bakery is great, I have heard many good things about the products from this establishment. My review is for the guy who drives the blue Ford Escape, I think it 's the spouse of the owner. As I was leaving the park, turning right off Eberson onto Lafayette St, the road was clear and because he was going more than twice the speed limit he nearly hit me. It was during the part of the day in which it was densely populated with kids on the side walk. He tailgated me to the point I couldn 't see his hood in my rear view all the way to the strip mall entrance. I waved him back to get off my rear and he waved his arms and flips me off. He turned into the bakery and I stop and have an appropriately calm word with him, telling him he shouldn 't ride so close or drive too fast, that there are children present and could hit one. He was calm and didn 't have anything to say until I started to drive away and then he threatened me with physical violence and called me a vulgar female private part and crossed his arms like he was some thug gangster, but only after I was driving away. A real tough guy with a potty mouth. I 'm guessing it was the owner who came out yelling at him for doing that in front of the bakery. I have to say, only a smart tough guy would act like that in front of his own spouse 's business. Smdh. I don 't know about you folks, but I wouldn 't do business with the likes of rude and threatening thug wanna-be 's like that fella or a spouse who associates with such a person. I should have made a police report for his threat of violence. I 'd say karma will catch up with him sooner or later...

Summary The BEST cakes around; prices seem too good to be true!Details We used Sugar Chic for our wedding after they made a cake for our shower. My wife and I neither one like cake, but this stuff is wonderful. After having it at the shower we changed the dessert for the wedding to have cake from them.My wife bought me a small cake for my birthday and it was just as delicious as the two times before. My father also had a German Chocolate Cake bar that he also very much enjoyed.The prices are amazing for the quality of the product they produce. We drive from Atlanta to get their products.

WOW!! GREAT FOOD and owner who goes ABOVE AND BEYOND!Drove into town 10 hours for a family reunion and needed something to contribute. We called at the very, veriest last minute for a coconut cake but the answer was we can 't on such short notice completely understandable...the next minute the phone rang and the owner offered 24 coconut cupcakes instead EVEN BETTER for this type of gathering. We picked 'em up AND a few others...strawberry, cookies and creme, white birthday cake in addition to the coconut ALL TOTALLY YUM and great customer service. You MUST try this place...

Saw the bakery when walking around after breakfast. Stopped on a whim and so glad I did! The vanilla and baked goods smell alone was worth the price. The sales associate was so sweet and helpful. Everything purchased was amazingly good. The chess bars and the cowboy cookies were my top favs. This is good stuff!

This place is very small and quaint! I love the atmosphere and the owner is very polite. I got some chocolate chip and double chocolate cookies. They weren't badly priced at all!!
