Suki Sushi - Reserva de mesa

This restaurant was once a respectable Japanese sushi spot, but it has recently changed hands and is now an overpriced Chinese establishment masquerading as a Japanese sushi place. The sushi rice is overcooked, the portions have shrunk, and the miso soup tastes more like hot-and-sour soup from a typical Chinese restaurant. The cooks are Chinese, and the ambiance even has the smell of a Chinese eatery. If you're seeking authentic Japanese sushi, this is not the right place. However, if you don't mind paying a premium for food that tastes Chinese, then this is the spot for you.

The sushi rolls and sashimi were excellent, featuring fresh ingredients and creative, well-balanced signature rolls. The Hamachi Kama is one of my favorite dishes, and this was an incredibly generous portion that was perfectly roasted. The only dish we didn't particularly enjoy was the beef Yaki Udon. While it had a generous serving and was loaded with veggies, we didn't care for the style of the sauce. Overall, a satisfying meal with just a minor drawback.

The service here is excellent, and the atmosphere is enjoyable, but unfortunately, the food leaves much to be desired. As someone from Colorado, I can say that the sushi there is much better, which is surprising. Additionally, their hand rolls are a bit deceptive; they don't resemble traditional sushi rolls. Overall, for dinner, I paid around $30–50. I would rate the food a 1, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.

The food was absolutely amazing, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Our meals arrived quickly and were priced very reasonably, leaving my boyfriend and me extremely satisfied. Our waiter was exceptional—very kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place! This is the best sushi in Nashville! I highly recommend Suki for its delicious Suki roll, ginger salad, and seaweed salad. I've sampled many sushi restaurants throughout Nashville, but Suki truly stands out as the best. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30

Overall, the food was good, but the pineapple curry was missing any pineapple. I also wish they offered spice levels on DoorDash; mine was not spicy, and I would have preferred a spicier option.
