On this cold, rainy fall day there 's no better place to be sitting than in this wonderfully warm and friendly coffee shop. They are now celebrating their two year anniversary and they are bringing bread back! I 'm looking forward to trying some of their delicious homemade breads. They have a good selection of sandwiches for lunch and salads and their espresso is tops. The owner carefully chose a good espresso machine and she uses CBD coffee (Coffee By Design) that is freshly roasted and ground. It is smooth and rich with a wonderful crema on top. I also tried their cheesecake brownie, which is very rich and delicious... and I 'll have to save some for later. If you 're in the area stop on by...

We happened to be nearby around lunchtime and stopped in on a whim. Now I will be making excuses to go back to Gorham to eat there again. Charming atmosphere, lovely assortment of baked goods and lunch foods. Staff was friendly and service was quick. My two kids and I each found a lunch and desert that sounded good to us. And everything was just as tasty or even better than we had hoped! I will definitely crave the egg salad on brioche the pickled onion was so good on in. My son said it was the best Italian sandwich he has had and the bread was perfect.

Delicious!!! We shared the breakfast hand pie, blueberry biscuit, raspberry turnover and a couple of black coffees. Not the typical American overly sickly sweet, but a very nice balance of flavors. The crust on the hand pie was flakey and tender, almost croissant-like, as was the pastry on the turnover. The blueberry biscuit had almost as many blueberries as dough. We will definitely make this one of our regular spots.

Gorham is really lucky to have SHB. This place is such a treasure! The pastries are exquisite, the coffee delicious. The staff are so warm. I love it here and if you like nice things, you will too.
