Sully's on Semaphore

Yesterday was a sunny Saturday morning and our destination was Semaphore. Checking it out as a possible place to buy property for our impending retirement to Adelaide.Driving down Marion discovered Sully's on the net in our first 'need' for the day 'Breakfast'. We fast until lunchtime Mon-Fri and Really look forward to a relaxing and Enjoyable breakfast on the weekend.Sully's for the main, read well on Trip Advisor and the accompanying photos looked good, and my apologies for not including photos, my mistake.We both chose Avocado & Feta Smash, rocket and cherry tomatoes. Very disappointing. Apart from wedges and chips there were 2 vegetarian options offered on the menu. Wait make that 1 as when we ordered the vegetarian pizza we were told it wasn't available because of the pizza place next door. When I asked why it was still on the menu then I was told that "all of our customers know we don't make it." My vegetarian friend ordered wedges and I ordered the seafood dish, the prawns were nice the salad small and the fish tasted terrible. Not off but awful. With so many other great restaurants on Semaphore road I wouldn't bother with this one. A pub meal would be much better.

Our first visit to Sully's was a very pleasant experience. Unlike some places on a Sunday morning, there was no mass of people and were not jammed in amongst a crowd. The six of us (including four of my sisters) enjoyed an extremely nice breakfast with Eggs Benedict being a big hit. Good service, best coffee ever according to our resident expert.

What a delightful surprise we had this morning for a later brunch. Sully' Breakfast of Bacon, Eggs, Tomato withTurkish Bread was perfection! Tried a new coffee today .. Coconut Chai Latte .. Devine!! Apple & Cinnamon Pancake with Ice-cream & Maple Syrup... Melted in your mouth.No 1 for us now... Fabulous service & music too Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent omelette full of ham cheese & tomato & good coffee great little restaurant on semaphore Rd worth stopping in for some healthy & good food & great atmosphere with lovely friendly staff we were well looked after Give it a try & enjoy

Great place for brunch we have been coming here for years. The menu updates today we had a yum German breakfast and a big vegetarian breakfast. Coffee is good and we can sit outside with the dog. The staff are really friendly and helpful.

Packed at weekends, but quite desrted other times. It's the best in a dull area. Does decent basic fare, although the fish is hardly appetizing and the salad filler is out of the fridge.

Nice coffee and breakfast options. I had the poached eggs with Turkish bread, spinach and bacon and I really enjoyed it. Pancakes were nice also. Reserva una mesa ahora

Dunno how we overlooked this place for so long. Our loss!!! Absolutely excellent food and service. Highly recommend seafood trio.

It doesn't look too much from the outside, but this was a great find. Tasteful, wise-ranging lunch menu and very friendly hosts.
