We booked for adults for a Wednesday night dinner at On arrival we found our group to be the only ones there and were only joined by a couple later on in the night. It was not a happy start for our group...as a few items we ordered were not available so we had to order alternatives. The majority ordered the tasting plate and it was a generous serve as well as tasty. The rice dish and the platter of deep fried whiting was also delicious. The best of the night was the freshly made flat bread which they kept replenished. The service was obviously great as the one and only server looked after us. Overall we had a good experience and the price point was very reasonable.
Summerland Restaurant, located in an industrial area Liverpool Road Strathfield South NSW. the place looks like a five star restaurant in a luxury hotel, what a Lovely ambience .The food was delicious and portion sizes good for sharing, Tasty food...Hummus and Tabbouleh better than I...had in other middle eastern restaurants. Shishlik and lamb chops...chicken liver and baba ghanouj, all were scrumptious. Above all, staff and owner are pleasant and obliging, they make sure you are well served and warmly received. Honestly this was possibly the best and most authentic Lebanese food in the local area. A very enjoyable evening... Will definitely be back for more.
We shared two plates and a salad between three people and couldn't eat it all. The food is plentiful, authentic and delicious. I had been to Summerland years ago when it was at Punchbowl and it was good then too. On the downside they don't...really serve mixed meat and vegetarian platters which a lot of Lebanese restaurants do. A shame because they give you a little of everything. The service was good. Although the waitress struggled with English she was quick to go and ask for help or clarification from other staff members. We were there on a Wednesday and it was pretty quiet.
We have attended a couple of functions at this resturant and not once have they delivered on food, service or atmosphere. We really can not say anything positive about the food, except the bread is always hot and fresh. Thats where it stops. The quality...of food is cheap, rushed and flavourless. The cleanliness of the resturant is also something that is to be questioned- I went to the bathroom and saw cockroaches in my small trip there. If you want good, quality lebanese food go elsewhere. I would not recommend at all.

I have been to many middle Eastern restaurants in Sydney and my recent visit to Summerland restaurant was a fantastic experience! I went not knowing what to expect, we had the most enjoyable Lebanese food (spot on), the waiting staff were always accomodating to our...needs and constantly re-filling food for us, and the entertainment (live band) was wonderful everyone up dancing. I will definitely go again and take friends to entertain and show them good Lebanese food. Great experience!

An awesome night- great music, good food and very fun and loud atmosphere. Dance your socks off. The seating was a bit tight but you make do- the atmosphere is amazing. A great place for a family function

Working in Bankstown I am used to really good Lebanese restaurants...but this place was even better. The fresh bread was terrific. Cauliflower. Mixed plate all good. reasonably quick service too.
Went there kick backed relax hek ate my food very nice btw well priced aswell would recommend to my mates
