Thought the food was delicious until a COCKROACH ran right ACROSS the TABLE. We informed one of the employees and he laughed it off and said “sometimes they come in through the window.” After that he happily handed us the bill and asked if we would like a box for the food. ???? Yes a box for my food that a cockroach just ran past.. YUCK. I understand that stuff happens whatever but for the bug to run right across the table and for it to be brushed/laughed off by staff is absolutely disgusting. Will never eat here again. The only hibachi I go to. Better than deliciousevery time, no matter what my family or myself order. They are 100 percent consistent on every dish they make. Vegetarian options: Tbh I'm not the most knowledge with vegetarianism. Sumo is hands down the best in the area as far as sushi/sashimi/rolls are concerned. The quality of fish is exceptional for being a large scale family restaurant, and the service is excellent. Absolutely amazing. We took my dad out for his birthday to his favorite place Sumo and we were wowed by the service and the amazing food!!! Sushi is top tier! Sushi rolls can be a bit pricey but the quality is amazing. The star of the show was the Mexican roll, it was so unique and flavorful.
Best special roll variety in the area, hands down. The service is always on point, great people. Beautiful display and sushi bar as you walk in.
This place won a best sushi award in 2018! Things must have dropped in 2019, or else maybe the bar for sushi is just really low in Spring Lake.
