We drink water anything and don’t have that that drippings like your dripping snot from your nose to your throat. This food is authentic. It is very good. The goat meat is t tinder.. The lamb was very tough and difficult to chew. It tasted dry, as if it wasn't fresh and had been sitting for days. The meal was overly oily, which is not suitable for people with acid reflux or sensitive digestion. I had high hopes based on previous reviews, but I was very disappointed with both the food and the service. The staff need improvement; it was hard to place my order since they struggled to understand me, and the person handling payments didn’t know how to operate the tablet. She also handled my food with the same dirty gloves she used for the money, which should have been a warning sign. Despite this, I still bought the meal and ended up spending over $60 on food that we couldn’t...
The food at African Soul Food is really good, but if Katy is working, I wouldn’t recommend coming. She is extremely rude and refuses to accommodate substitutions, even when the owner is okay with it and I’m willing to pay the difference. She treats customers like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for over five years and only started having issues after Katy was hired. While the food is excellent, dealing with her poor attitude isn’t worth it. I suggest they provide her with customer service training before she drives more customers away. Every time she answers the phone, I just hang up. I’m also looking for another place to eat because the ex...
I placed an order over the phone and once I get there they hadn’t even started on my order yet after 30 minutes of placing it. I patiently waited and my food and it was finally brought out to me and I tried paying the cashier in cash and she didn’t even know how to count bills. I helped her letting her know what she owed me in change and she was still confused. To top in off I get home and the food was cold and it’s the worst taste in food I’ve ever had. It taste like it was days old and fermented. A waist of $80 dollars in just 3 plates. Cook it yourself instead!!!!! Worst food ever and I got diarrhea even when I couldn’t finish my plate and my family couldn’t eat theirs as well. Reserva una mesa ahora
My family and I, visiting Los Angeles from the Bay Area, were looking for some African cuisine and are so glad we chose African Soul Food. We ordered the afang soup, efo riro (spinach soup), and a Jollof rice plate, all with assorted meats. The portions were huge, and the meat servings were generous. We ended up taking leftovers home because we simply couldn’t finish it all. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious! Larissa, who took our order, was a delight to speak with, especially when we found out she’s also Cameroonian. The service was quick, and the restaurant had plenty of space to dine comfortably. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area!
The food was delicious, the customer service outstanding, and the atmosphere welcoming. My meal arrived quickly, within 15 to 20 minutes. I highly recommend African Soul Food—thank you from Mr. and Mrs. Henry! **Vegetarian options:** They offer two vegan dishes, which is great since many African restaurants lack such choices. **Kid-friendliness:** Bring the kids—it's a very family-friendly place! **Parking:** Plenty of parking is available, so finding a spot is easy. **Wheelchair accessibility:** The restaurant is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
Yesterday I ate at the location in Marina del Rey or Venice. It's right there on the border on the corner of Lincoln in Washington. The people were very nice and helpful. The food was just not good. The flavors clashed the chicken was super dry like it's been sitting in a warmer for a long time. The ambience in the restaurant was nonexistent. It's too bad I was looking forward to trying something different.
The perfect spot to enjoy a wide variety of Nigerian dishes. Not only is the food delicious, but the lady at the reception is also wonderful! I was in Cali for a few days, and this place quickly became MY GO-TO! Parking: Convenient and easy. Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible. Reserva una mesa ahora

"We had a fantastic evening celebrating our friend Barbara's birthday. The food was delightful, and the restaurant features TVs and great music.
