We should have read the reviews before ordering they are not wrong! Ordered through Just Eat. We were notified that the food was on its way, which was then revised a few minutes later to show a later delivery time. I rang the restaurant and was told that my food had been ready a few minutes but there were no drivers. I asked them to discard the food and cook fresh when drivers were available, but no, they put it in a hot box and sent it on its way half an hour later. I wasted money on food that tasted like it was frozen and reheated the chicken slices were per packed chicken slices clearly the pancake roll had one small bit of chicken and a prawn and tasted like it was glazed in metallic tasting products dosed in strong off cinnamon. The beef in black been sauce was like warm and tasted soggy and old and the special fried rice had no peas or carrot had some chicken and metal tasting prawns the rice was clearly reheated as it was soggy I am never buying from there again waste of my money I feel sick and if I get sick form it I will be seeking legal advice never again
Don't even bother with this restaurant! Food not been good for a while but continued to support them during the pandemic as its been difficult times. But not anymore! Been having deliveries and collection from here for over two years on a weekly basis. This evening we have just phoned an order through and they have informed us they will not deliver to Eynsford anymore, lots of silly excuses even though we pay the delivery charge. They don't deserve the business. Hartley Golden Dragon have new customers. So don't waste you money buying not even great food from SUN MOON LAKE, Orpington KENT
I cannot understand why there are so many bad reviews for this takeaway. My partner and I have had 4 takeaways from here. On all 4 occasions the food has been excellent. It has heat and plenty of flavour (so far we have only tried: Shredded Chilli Beef, Chicken Curry, Beef in Chilli and Garlic Sauce with Singapore Fried Rice). The delivery time has been earlier than expected, never later than the earliest time specified. We are very impressed with the fact that they deliver to Eynsford. The delivery drivers are also very friendly. We will definitely be ordering again from this takeaway.

I usually don't write negative reviews, but after reading some others here, I feel justified in doing so this time. I ordered salt and pepper tofu and fries, and although it tasted okay, four hours later I started vomiting, shaking, sweating, and feeling achy. It was so bad that I thought I might need to go to the hospital at one point. The vomiting lasted for 12 hours, and even though I still felt sick for two days afterwards, three days later I still feel weak and lightheaded. This was the worst case of food poisoning I've ever experienced. I do not recommend this restaurant.
I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and unfortunately, it was a completely disappointing experience. The food ended up in the trash as it was the worst Chinese meal I have ever had. The rice was sticky and had uncooked chunks of chicken, while the spare ribs were slimy and inedible. The smell was unpleasant and I wouldn't even give it to a dog. Save your money and go somewhere else for a decent Chinese meal at the same price.
Ordered awhile ago food was horrible but reviews wasn’t too bad so thought would give them another chance, prawn crackers stale, shredded beef way too hot, hoof Kong style chicken mushy back too new bamboo for us did can’t even eat the shredded chicken Complain last time they didn’t even care so no point this time
This is the worst meal I have ever had. The rice was soggy and wet, the chicken was not cooked thoroughly, and the ribs were dry. I couldn't eat any of it and ended up throwing it in the trash, worried about the possibility of getting salmonella.

The food was disgusting , dry and very salty. It was virtually inedible. Lamb starter was burnt and pancake rolls were incredibly chewy. The duck main course was very salty and chewy.
If I could take this, I would disgust the food melt as it was. it was slimy and dirty!
