Sun Seng Chinese Restaurant

There was nobody in the restaurant when we arrived, which should have been a warning sign. A group of six of us ordered chicken satay and spring rolls for starters. The spring rolls were burnt and small, and tasted awful. The chicken satay was served with large pieces of chicken on skewers, which was unappetizing. The satay sauce was orange and tasted like low-quality packaged food. The chicken was tough and chewy, prompting me to spit it out. The main dishes were just as disappointing, so I ended up ordering some chips instead of trying the fried rice or other dishes. The chips were also terrible. Not only was the food bad, but it was also extremely overpriced at $280 for our group of six....

We used to enjoy dining at this Chinese restaurant, but our recent experience on Christmas Eve was disappointing. The service was terrible despite there only being a few tables occupied in the restaurant. Our entrees came out slowly, one dish at a time, and our main beef dish was served without rice or any other dishes. After waiting for 40 minutes, our second main dish arrived without accompaniments. We waited another 10 minutes with no sign of the rest of our order, so we had to leave after being there for over 2 hours with still 3 main dishes to go. The staff seemed indifferent to the frustration of the diners and were more focused on takeout orders, leaving those dining in feeling neglec...

This used to be a favorite restaurant for us and many others. As a group, we were excited to visit again after not going for 5 years. Some mentioned it was not as good anymore, but we decided to go back based on our great memories. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The food is now just average and lacks the "wow" factor it used to have. The service was still pleasant and they remembered us, but the food was the main issue. The prawn toast and special fried rice were below our expectations. Sadly, it seems like the restaurant has lost its touch. We will wait for reviews that show an improvement before considering going back. Apologies.

Xmas eve. Ordered 7.22. Advised 58 mins for delivery. After 70 mins, Rang to see where it was to be told 20 mins. After another 45 mins rang again to be told it was on its way. In total 2hrs 13 mins for delivery. Completely ruined the evening. They said they were busy and short staffed. They shouldnt have accepted the way rider knowing this and we could have ordered elsewhere.

Used to be great food. My order was rubbery and tasteless. The only thing that was reasonably tasty was the fried rice. Never again.
