It's our wedding anniversary and we chose to have lunch here because it's nearer to where we live than the one in downtown. The food was good. My problem was the waitress. I did read the rule that says unfinished food will be charged regular price. But we did not think it would be LITERALLY UNFINISHED FOOD. LIKE YOUR PLATE MUST BE LITERALLY CLEAN. NO FOOD LEFT. We ate at this restaurant downtown and they had no problems with us leaving just a little food on the plate. When we asked for the bill, the waitress looked at our plates and told us to finish everything otherwise we will be charged the regular price. The food is good, not the best sushi Ive had locally but definitely not anything I’d complain about. The atmosphere is really pretty and most staff were super nice with the exception of one we had take an order.I didn’t realize the all you can eat menu was ordered in person, I’ve only experienced either a paper menu you fill out and pass in or a tablet system for ordering. It was a little awkward, took a long time between orders and some items we ordered definitely got lost or didn’t show.I don’t know if we will be making a return trip back, but overall not a bad experience.
I just completed the all-you-can-eat option and sampled a variety of dishes on the menu. Everything was served in a timely manner, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was extremely friendly as well. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. The prices are reasonable, and the food is fantastic.
Perfect... a must-try! If I had to choose one sushi restaurant in St. John's, it would definitely be Sun Sushi. During our last visit, we ordered a sushi roll, and it was amazing! We also tried a stir-fried noodle dish that was absolutely delicious. Overall, we were very satisfied. We keep returning time and again!

I didn’t have high expectations for the all-you-can-eat experience, considering my past experiences with similar places. However, I was pleasantly surprised at every turn. The quality of the sashimi and the flavors of the torched sushi will definitely bring me back!
My family just left from Sun Sushi. Delicious food, Calamari Yaki was grill perfectly and swim on the plate, Sushi very good tho. love the atmosphere of this place.
Perfect spot for sushi and ramen! The restaurant was immaculate, and the food was superb. It's an ideal choice for a date night for Valentine
