Sunbeam Cafe - Reserva de mesa

Every time we visit, the queue in the Sunbeam cafe is extremely slow. The issue is with the serving of drinks, where each hot tea/coffe takes a stupid amount of time to prepare. Sometimes there have been 5 staff at the drinks counter, but only one person is able to prepare drinks at a time. It badly needs a faster process, or more machines, or one person dedicated to each machine. The staff working the machines look inept, and seem to waste time doing nothing. Last time we were there, a nice lady was very occupied with putting a pull-out barrier between customers, as soon as they entered the cafe, then retracting the barrier, and putting it back immediately the queue (eventually) move on. Have visited Brooklands Museum countless times over the past few years and no trip is ever complete without a visit to the fantastic Sunbeam CAFE. They have a wide choice of drinks, cakes, hot food, well stocked fridges with sandwiches and cold drinks and if you are able to get there early enough, the hot breakfast is fabulous. Always friendly service with a smile. Would highly recommend.

During our visit to the museum, we found ourselves limited to only one restaurant option. Despite the limited selection, we opted for a baked potato which was a generous serving of high-quality potato topped with cheese, beans, and a side of salad. The meal was reasonably priced at £6.75 and offered good value for money.

I wasn't expecting amazing food at a museum, but the sandwiches were disappointing. However, the cake and coffee were decent. The best part is the cooked meals from 12 to 2:30, but the long wait causes the food to get cold. This issue has been consistent for years and needs to be addressed. Reserva una mesa ahora

The chicken curry was bland and too liquidy. To make matters worse, there was a 10-minute wait before anyone took our order at the register, causing the food to be cold when we finally got to eat it. If you visit this café, I suggest sticking with the sandwiches.

There was a queue to be served and some of the food our party would have chosen had run out. But given we were hungry the solid servings were probably what we needed

On a day that was a London bus fest they must have known it was going to be busy 2 coffee machines for 100s of people take a packed lunch cheaper and quicker

By the time you get to the end of the queue to pay, your Overpriced low quality sausage roll is cold. Great museum, take a packed lunch. Reserva una mesa ahora

Lovely fresh warm scones and a perfect cappuccino there is inside outside seating . The facilities were also very clean

I had pasty and chips and you get the feeling it was cooked especially for you and not just reheated.
