Visited several times and on each visit the experience seems a little more disappointing. This time it was heaving due to school holidays and great weather. We sat at a dirty table (there seemed to be no free staff to clean and wipe down the tables). Waited a while to be served, told order would be a while as they had ran out of crepe mixture. When it arrived the sundae and crepes were very nice but tainted by the huge queue winding past us, noise, general dirtiness and the fact there were flies all over. Definitely need more staff in the good weather. Was one of our favourites but will wait for the bad weather and hope it improves when it’s quieter...
We decided to visit this place based on recommendations of it being an American-style ice cream parlor. While the ice cream was delicious, it did not quite have the American style we were expecting. We sat at a cramped table and waited to be served, only to realize we had to order at the counter, which caused a bit of a delay. The Fudgilicious Sundaes we ordered were fantastic, with no complaints on the flavor. The prices were reasonable for the portion sizes. Overall, we would come back for takeout ice cream next time we are in Yarm, as the atmosphere inside was not cozy enough for us to enjoy our dessert comfortably.
Visited sundaes as part of a cupcake decorating event which was fantastic! Whilst the kids decorated their cakes it gave us time to sit and relax. The food was lovely. We had lattes, toasted teacake and a crepe with toppings and Ice cream. Staff were quick to serve and timely with orders. Good value for money and all delicious. The only down side was the staff they all looked so miserable. It costs nothing for a smile and to act like you want the customers there. I wasn't the only one who passed comment either. We'll definitely return for another visit, just hope the atmosphere is a bit more welcoming.
I went to the restaurant with my wife and daughter using a voucher. I ordered a maple bacon bagel while my wife had the same but in a crepe form. The food was very tasty and the staff was helpful. However, the air conditioning was not great and it was uncomfortably hot during the day. It also seemed like they could benefit from having more staff as some tables took a while to clear and clean.

Sunday seemed so busy. Young lovely girls working hard. The afternoon was busy and I wanted something cold. I didn’t expect such fantastic, innovative and creative flavours. My boys loved bubble gum ..I’m more of a lemon girl. keep doing what you do
I love this place. There are so many options to try and the ice cream is delicious. It's a popular spot for families, so keep that in mind and choose your visit time wisely if you're looking for a quieter experience (weekdays).
Great little spot offering super ice cream varieties from Palmer violet to Jaffa cake, morello cherry and stable favourites too. Nice staff and buzzing place. Nothing more English than an ice cream in the summer or winter.
This is a great ice cream parlour which caters for children well. It is well worth a visit. One problem, if you are in a hurry to get home, cross the street, as the children will clamour to go in and guess who will win!

We have been to Sundaes quite a few times. I like the decor and giant blackboard. The ice creams are lovely with a good choice of flavours and the waffles are delicious! Quite often very busy and can get noisy.
