was thrilled to try the pho here. the rare steak pho was $10.50, which might be a dollar or so above average. there is an additional fee of 1.00 if they ask for their meat on the side instead of in the suppe (this is done so that the meat is not cooked over until they get it). not sure why this would be an additional fee to put it simply in a small plate instead of in the suppe. I decided not to pay the extra dollar. when I got the suppe, the meat was actually so over boiled, it was very hard and dry. I immediately regretted not getting it on the side. there were more definitiw meat than the average bowl of the pho. the broth was simply missing something, I am not sure what. there are only s...
I absolutely adore a good pho restaurant, and this place never disappoints! The taste is key, and whether I order the chicken or beef pho, it's always heavenly. We also tried the grilled pork chop, which had a delicious marinade. The spring rolls with pork and the egg rolls were fantastic - typically I'm not a fan of egg rolls with too much ginger, but these ones at Sunflower were perfectly balanced in flavor. my man and I went on a cold and windy night to a late valentine-stag dinner, all about the place was warm and welcoming! it was my first time pho and I really enjoyed it. the bowls were so big! I could probably get four portions of one of them. we also ordered spring rolls and they were huge! the erdnus sauce was excellent. the workers were very nice and the decor was nice. If we go again next time, my man wants to try a sandwich. I want to drink a dessert. I can't wait!
