Visited earlier during Autumn fest and got their mooncakes. The taro and rainbow ones were nicely made and tasted very good. Love the colors for both as well and wished i got to try the other flavors but perhaps maybe next time. I was able to try their matcha and chocolate croissant but unfortunately they were dry and didnt taste fresh. Granted we came just close to closing time so maybe thats why the quality wasnt good anymore? Idk. I also tried the matcha cream puff and I didnt like it either. Not fresh that the powder toppings were already starting to blend in with the dough. I even questioned the freshness of the cream and didnt bother finishing it. They do have a nice outdoor space. This is a classic Taiwan bakery with now 2 NJ locations and a bunch in Cali. Have been to their Edison locations many times and now Ft. Lee too. Their black sesame bubble tea I can find nowhere other than Taiwan. Perfection in a cup. Their green tea croissant is my fave Taiwanese pastry next to fresh pineapple cakes. Their menu is more Eur-Asian than in Taiwan but plenty of traditional faves keep me drooling. Good thing there's a bridge and a toll between me and the bakery. The Edison location specializes in fresh lemon bubble tea.
I came in for an iced coffee; the last 2 times it was made perfectly by I believe an Indian server. This time it was just so bland watered down and when I said it they didn't offer to remake so I had to throw it out in the store itself and leave sadly. This was such a good place when they were at their old location and so much more options in drinks and pastries too; with lines out the door sometimes. I don't understand how instead of expanding someone decided removing some of the better drinks and pastry was the way to do business
This review is solely on the mooncake. . This is a Taiwanese bakery. The mini mooncake with the black sesame on top was absolutely amazing!!! It’s too good that I have to make an effort to write this review!! The dough is flaky, and the york is big!! The red bean paste is not super sweet. The balance and the ratio of the flavors is just perfect. I am so so so happy to have finally found my mooncake!! ;

This bakery is well-known among Koreans for its delightful treats. I've purchased cakes here multiple times to share with friends, and most of them have really enjoyed them. The bread is wonderfully soft. While the coffee isn't as impressive as the baked goods, it's still decent. If you're looking for a cake, this is the place to go! Those who receive the cakes will be pleased.
Wow, the cakes and savory pastries here are absolutely amazing! The mango panna cotta was incredibly delicious. This place is also impeccably neat and clean. You should definitely give it a try! By the way, if you loved khara bun or aloo bun in Bangalore, Karnataka, you're in for a treat— their scallion bun is simply fantastic!
I got extremely special guest coming over and they came with a load of tasty pastries from Sunmerry. Pretty delicate taste, nicely presented. It feels to the taste that is made with good quality ingredients. Is a Keeper!
I love all the cakes from this bakery very moist and not too sweet, the staff our helpful and friendly. Highly recommended if you're asian cake lover

I've tried the cakes here twice and they are really good and great. They are elegant, soft and sweet like Japanese cakes. I love here so much.
