Iv just visited Sunny Hill park cafe, I ordered a salad that cost £10.95 and while ordering I enquired about a portion of humus and ask the price, “£7.50 came the reply,” “what I said ? ok no thank you !! “ he seemed to take pity and said “don’t worry I’ll put a little on the side “ I also had a can of drink and the bill came to just under £17, I was a little confused but being English just went and sat down. Decided to try this for breakfast as a change from the usual cafes in Mill Hill. Breakfast options very limited, and prices astronomical, particularly when the orders came and the portion sizes were so tiny. Almost £12 for my husbands a single piece of sourdough (half the size of my mobile phone) with some chopped tomato, herbs and onion and two tiny eggs. Wanting something simple I had chosen eggs but didnt want salad (very odd for breakfast) on toast. Hi, I go in this coffee almost everyday since i moved in this neighborhood and i really like the place the food and the service. But today someone from the staff told me that the tables are for people who order food, nobody told me that before . I get the idea that you as a business want to make as much profit as you can but this in not the right way how to treat the coustumers. its the first time that i hear this in coffee shops in london. The costumers who spend every day 10 pound are the same with costumers that spend once a week 50 pounds. Came here today for Breakfast and was quickly attended to by friendly, welcoming staff. It was the perfect place to have Breakfast with Mum on Mother's Day. A cosy, hidden jewel in Hendon. Breakfast was amazing! Food was delicious and filling and my son enjoyed his hot dog brekky as well! Poached eggs were the best I've had in awhile and the prices are indeed worth the wonderful satisfaction of our appetites today. Thanks for a super fast service. I used to love this restaurant. I've been a regular since it first opened. However, it has become overpriced and disappointing. The food is average at best, especially considering the high prices. I won't be returning. You can find much better options for the same price - Ivy Cafe offers superior quality for breakfast at a comparable cost.
The menu is now so limited for breakfast No eggs, no toast. No pastries, no fruit, ordered a croissant it was ok but not really breakfast. Don't understand if your making shakshuka with all the extra toppings why not simple eggs ?. Only male toilet open?. Wasnt a good experience for us.
The food was very disappointing. It was unimaginative and the lamb was full of inedible grizzle. It was expensive for a bowl of hummus, tiny pieces of grizzle and a piece of bread. The coffee was fine. Nice setting but won’t go back.

I have been going to this cafe for the last few years now and love it there. The service is excellent, staff are so helpful and friendly and not to mention the food is absolutely delicious. I would 100% recommend to anyone.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a unique breakfast experience and catching up with friends. The staff is very friendly. However, it is important to arrive early as parking is limited.
