A lunch gathering with a few friends was a hit recently. Sunnys has good food at reasonable prices and is perfectly located with a view across the park to the sea. A bonus is its proximity to Seaview Art Gallery for a pre- or post- lunch browse. Most of us had the same lunch special from the board. A delicious concoction of spaghetti, prawns, wilted spinach, in a preserved lemon and rose sauce. Yummo! Other than that the seafood risotto looked excellent, and was well received by my friends. The service is very good, and we were able to pay separately, not always acceptable in many places. Just perfect for our group.
This is such a beautiful spot, great for coffee and cake.Have been here a few times in the hope they improve as they have a great menu but it just doesn't hit the mark - for starters who uses supermarket bought cheap processed sliced white bread to serve with a $20 breakfast these days.You guys are so close to being a great place but cutting corners that you cannot afford.Otherwise like I said, great for coffee & cake, I can even highly recommend the egg white omelette - I know, but really very delicious.
I ordered coffee to start. When it was delivered it was lukewarm. I was with a small group of ladies. The restaurant was not busy. I Ordered corn fritters. The others ordered basic breakfasts. Service was extremely slow. Took over an hour for breakfast to be delivered. I found my fritter dish cold and unappetizing. Very Costly and very disappointing at $20. A beautiful spot but would only give one star. We certainly won't be eating there again
We have had coffee and cake here last year and our first visit this holiday did not disappoint. The hummingbird cake was delicious, the coffee was excellent. Friends had carrot cake, rhubarb friand, iced coffee and cappuccinos and were all excellent. Our waiter was lovely, there is table service but you can pay and order at the counter which we did as we were salivating over the cake selection! Worth the walk to and fro from Caloundra.

I’m giving one star because of the spectacular location. The food was atrocious and when I spend $23 for a ceasar salad I expect top quality ingredients not parmesan cheese that is so old and chewy that I had to leave half of it on the plate. My husband had what was essentially crumbed whiting (3 miniscule pieces) with salad and this was the main course size for which we spent the sum of $33.00. Very disappointed.
We had our dinner in the out side covered area as it was winter and the heaters kept us warm.Great service and waitresses, very helpful with their view on suitable wine to go with the meal, a beautiful Spanish style paella, as we are not fussed on calamari they gave us more mussels and fishWould certainly go back again.
Big breakfast for a big appetite. Very friendly staff ( including Sunny) and fast efficient service. Waffles were good but a vanilla Malt thickshake made my day. Nice location & good for large groups. #facxual_events
Four of us came here and had a lovely lunch - calamari, whiting and a sandwich. All were good and the service was good too. Definately will come back again.

nice spot for coffee or a meal-indoor and outdoor seating available. Wonderful view of Moffat beach any time of the day or night
We all ordered an assortment of various coffees. Coffees were universally O.K. but not outstanding. Very pleasant view.
