Very weird experience. My dad and I were sitting and looking at the menu when a guy in a flannel shirt talking to another guy forgot what personal space was and reached over my dad to point at a picture, unnecessarily brushing up against him. Noacknowledgment whatsoever. Turned out that this guy was the owner. I was so disturbed that I had to leave. Looking at thereviews, it seems like we did not miss out on anything.
Our last stop for a quick breakfast at a fantastic Cuban restaurant near Key Largo was a delight. I absolutely loved the coffee con leche! I also had baked potatoes with meat, which were excellent. The long fritter was stuffed with smoked ham, and it was incredibly tasty. For dessert, we tried a Cuban tamale with a bit of ham inside, and it was delicious! I can't wait to return next year for more.
Sunrise Grill is a nice place with great service. However, they do seem to charge for every little extra. I was surprised to be charged a dollar for a side of gravy for my hash browns. It makes you wonder how much food they waste each week while nickel-and-diming customers for small items like a splash of schnapps.
Delicious, Gracious and Its a hidden gem! Don't let this strip mall fool you This place has it all. The food is always hot, tasty and large portions! We were seated right away and our server quickly took our drink order. She was taking care of about 6-8 tables. She kept our drinks refilled without being asked. Our food arrived hot and as ordered. You won't be disappointed with any items you order.
The food is delicious, the service is great! This place is always busy. One of the local jewels of the lake. Every time I get here, I'll let you feel fat and luck. Make yourself a favor and come here for breakfast!
Incredible value and food prepared fresh to order, served at our table in under 5 minutes. I've never experienced service this fast in any restaurant, and I'm 62 years old. Kudos to the whole team!
