I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over 10 years, but unfortunately, my last two visits were terrible. During one visit, my daughter ordered pizza and, despite informing them of her allergy to pizza sauce, it was still included. I was offered a credit, but it was essentially just my own money back. I also reached out to management via email, but I have yet to receive a response. When I returned to use the credit, I requested a refund because the taco salad I received looked unappetizing and lacked any taco sauce. Sunset Pizzeria has the reputation of some of the best pizza in the Bluffton Okatie area. The service was very good. The atmosphere is comfortable and the restaurant is conveniently located on State Route 170 in Okatie. Pizza definitely lived up to its reputation!
The restaurant is always bustling and often seems to be understaffed. Although the service can be slow, we really enjoy the food. We will definitely return!
