If you are an early bird who wants to have a desi breakfast during “morning” time on a weekend in Hicksville, Sunshine Hicksville got it for you! In the past, we had to go to either Valley Stream, Jackson Heights or Brooklyn to fix our early morning nashta cravings. Thank you Sunshine for bringing this service in Hicksville at 9:30 am on weekends (most other places here start serving around or after noon). A couple of friends decided to go out for breakfast buffet and this place came up. The place is very nice and brightly lit. Buffet was ready with a limited range but covered most of the things a desi person would like. The downside was some items were cold and had to ask for a reheat (even though burners were on). They didn't have eggs and lassi in the buffet. Payas were a little off but overall in 20 dollars wasn't bad. Tea was very good. Will I go again..... maybe.
Excellent food and service, loved the atmosphere. Will definitely dine again and order for catering as well. Vegetarian options: Good portion and very delicious . Would definitely recommend the lunch buffet as well.. Parking: Lot of parking as it’s a shopping strip and most other businesses closed after 7pm
Went to Sunshine Hicksville last Sunday, 6/23/24, for their breakfast buffet and half of our group got food poisoning. Most of us are still sick. Absolutely terrible, would not recommend!

We actually saw a dead rat/ bird just outside the window where we were sitting. Food portions were tiny. They charged us different prices as written in the menu.
Quality of food going Down day by day. They try to avoid receipt. They try to over charge. Customer always demand receipt and check prices and oder list
Lovely place with amazing vibe i’hv never had mojito anywhere nearby but the mojito here was phenomenal delicious food and friendly staff.
the waiter hamza is a nice and hard working waiter he was so nice and brought our food the whole time and helped us with food and stuff
