Today was my second visit to Superhero Deli and today was my wife's first visit to this shop. I would definitely have to say that the shop is a well kept secret as the breakfast sandwiches and coffee service and prices are outstanding when compared to aDuncan Donuts. I passed this shop endless times in the past but never went in until this past November when I took my wife toher hair appointment early on a prior Saturday morning. I ordered a turkey and ham sandwich on a roll with lettuce, tomatoes, and provolone. While I understand that businesses need to make a profit, I was disappointed to find only two slices of turkey and two slices of ham in my sandwich. The rest was just piled high with thick cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. I even pleaded with my wife to go to a real deli for proper sandwiches instead. They charged me like the sandwich was fully loaded, but honestly, this was just sad. I called the owner to express my dissatisfaction and asked if I could bring it back, but he claimed there was half a pound of meat in it. What a joke!
Really great sandwiches! Owner and his family were so genuinely humble and welcoming, Something that I dont see that anymore when visiting businesses. I REALLY RECOMMEND THAT EVERYONE COME HERE! They also have homemade fresh muffins ,croissants, danishes and brownies that are to die for!
Sandwiches were done well, staff was helpful and super friendly. BEC on a roll was great, and we also ordered a pastrami cheese w/ Russian dressing, which was super tasty. As local as it gets, and will definitely be back to try other menu items.

So glad the owners opened up on Newbridge Road. Their previous location for over 15 years was in town across from the Bellmore LIRR station. Food is always fresh and delicious

such a kind family operation with great prices, fresh muffins and amazing sandwiches. we will be back for our next beach lunch!
Fresh baked goods. They make them themselves! What more could you ask for!
