My friend and I decided to get a bite to eat here based on the Yelp reviews, and we weren't disappointed. If you're looking for a cheaper/fast option in the area, this is the best. This restaurant is small and meant mostly for pickup. Though, since there was no one sitting on the small bar with two chairs next to the drink machine, we decided to stay. The cashier was accommodating and friendly! We ordered mozzarella sticks and the full cheesesteak with the works and whiz. GREAT taste, GREAT portions and GREAT prices. Our first time we ordered yesterday PHILLY RIB EYE CHEESESTEAK Sandwiches about Doordarsh and we were a bit hesitant to think it would be the usual nothing special kind of sandwiches, but we were completely blown away. My family and had Philly Cheesesteaks before, but nothing like this. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM made the taste and the portions simple to us want more the next day. We will certainly order again and again. Not only were the sandwiches great, they were then made by the fantastic funnels cakeries and chocolate sauce we ordered....thanks so much for a great experience!!!! Stop the big job!!!
We ordered mozzarella sticks, a full cheesesteak with all the toppings, and a whiskey. The mozzarella sticks were the standard frozen type from a warehouse and not cooked perfectly, but the homemade marinara sauce served with them was excellent. However, it was the cheesesteak that truly earned this place 5 stars. The bread was soft, and the sandwich itself was well put together. The meat was tender, and the whiskey was just right—not overpowering at all. We ordered enough for the two of us, and they kindly split it up for us. Overall, it was a very good cheesesteak!
The prices are slightly on the higher side, but they are definitely justified! All the ingredients are fresh and of high quality, arriving hot and cheesy as promised. The cheese fries are exceptional; they don't skimp on genuine cheese or rely on cheap cheese sauce. Overall, the food is excellent and fairly priced. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and received a sandwich with too much steak and barely any cheese. When I called to let them know, I was told by the cook that the cheese is cooked into the meat, and that what I was seeing was just mayo. I’m really disappointed. If I lived nearby instead of ordering through Uber Eats, I would have happily returned it. I think folks in Philly would be let down by this.
I'm from Brooklyn where I know a good Philly Cheesesteak, I pulled out here and didn't expect any good sandwiches like in town and this place didn't make this list. Every time I go here, I spend $25 for me and I'm here more than 5 times. In my book that means it's worth my money.
