The Surfing Lizard is a great place to start your day after a beautiful walk along Coogee Beach and a swim.My husband and I come here regularly and the food and coffee have improved since the café has changed hands. The coffee is of a very high standard and we are coffee snobs. The menu has an Asian fusion twist and we love the poached eggs with mushrooms, the flavours in the mushrooms are delicious and the poached eggs always come out soft just as we like them. The staff are always friendly.

Ordered the avo smash and paid extra for two poached eggs. Pic looks delicious, however the avocado tasted really bitter and had lots of hard bits throughout - wasn't very nice. I am never one to leave food but couldn't eat it. I think if I was mashing an avocado up I would notice that bits of it were solid so not sure why it was served like this. My friends meal was the same. Disappointed it has great potential and the staff are really nice just a shame about the meal.

Went for first time.....ordered simple poached eggs on sourdough. Thought I couldn't go wrong with that right....wrong. Very disappointing. The 2 poached eggs had lost most of their whites and they were not soft, effectively making them very small hard boiled eggs. The sourdough toast wasn't much better. It looked as if it had been toasted in a sandwich press. Not good at all for a $12 dish.On a more positive note the cappucino I ordered was ok.

My family and I went to this lovely place for a Sunday breakfast, which we do every fortnight at a different venue around the Fremantle area. It was difficult to select from the delicious and varied menu. It had a lovely atmosphere and was very busy but the food and service were excellent, especially the coffee! The staff were very friendly and very efficient. We will definitely all be coming back to try some other dishes. Reserva una mesa ahora

Management staff really lovely hear.....booths indoor and outdoor tables. Room for larger groups and kids. Kids play corner. I have only had breakkie but really good. Big mugs for hot drinks available. My only real criticism is to the designers of the Surf Club complex and Council etc......why oh why no view of the ocean????? Surely could've been achieved somehow????

Excellent coffee and friendly service. Brunch consisted of the pulled lamb rosti with mushrooms and tomatoes with a drizzle of (?) hollandaise sauce. Great dish.I have to stay on a low carb diet. I did find such a dish but the main fare here is carbs. The surroundings are pretty basic but maybe that will develop in due course.

This is the best breakfast I have had to date in WA....so unexpectedly delicious. Fresh, fresh produce, beautiful flavours & presentation...the coffee didn't match the standard of the food - but the bar is pretty high! Great service too, friendly, casual & relaxed atmosphere. I will be back...often!

The pic says it all - yum so delicious and so many flavors. This was my 2nd try of this place as I wasn't so impressed by the food the first time, but it's fair to say I have now been converted and will definitely visit again. Thank you. Reserva una mesa ahora

Located on the cycle way that connects Fremantle with Woodman Point. Had nice fish burgers for brunch. Gluten free options available. Toilets need cleaning.
