Surrey Hills Fish Chips & Grill

I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation and I am so glad I did. The seafood scallops and calamari were of great quality and absolutely delicious. The chips were crispy and seasoned perfectly with chicken salt. The burger was also perfect, with bread buns that were not too thick, allowing the fillings to shine. It was a nostalgic experience reminiscent of fish and chips from my youth. The shop was clean and fresh, with attentive staff who made us feel welcome. There is counter seating inside, but we chose to sit outside and enjoy our meal in a relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be returning, especially on movie nights at Balwyn cinemas for a high-quality dinner before the show.

Loved the beautiful fresh and authentic fish and chips and the burgers are to die for. The staff are so warm and friendly and make your day when you go and eat there.

The fish and chips and burgers are excellent at this restaurant. The atmosphere is old school and the staff is very friendly. I go there with my kids every Friday!

Offered steamed dimmies as we wait for our order, and free banana fritters . What great service!! Great staff and amazing service. We will be back
