Now here’s a place that I’d only come back out of a complete lack of alternatives. And I tried a few times to find some allure... They really need to consider an upgrade. Right now it is far from being a proper Japanese joint. Tables are sticky. Walls look like they need a vigorous scrub, to get rid of the soot and grime. Customers should be welcomed in, rather than being merely observed with indifference. Server needs major training, wear a proper apron and understand that plates served by long fingernails painted black is a turn off. Ramen eggs are just hard boiled eggs, not marinated. One for this restaurant is one to many. Went there to get some takeaway Sushi for lunch and was not allowed to order fresh sushi. Was welcome to take old looking sushi from the train which didn't look at all appetising. The poor two employees were run off there feet. To me it didn't even look like the owners of the resturant were there. I will not be going back to this sushi resturant when you can go down the road a little bit to Sushi Machi at Grand Central where you can order anything you want. Don't visit this restaurant if you want sushi cause you may be told they are not making sushi or you get old looking stuff from the train.

It is a small and busy place, only one person serving the five or six tables, in addition to the counter where you can choose your plate from the moving belt. We set on the table, picked a couple plates from the belt and ordered a couple more plates, all of them excellent. In addition the price was better than the Japonese in the nearby shopping center. I highly recommend to go there for lunch.

The food is fresh and very basic with little flavour or variety. There is a train with a limited number of items on it and you have to order from the menu. Choices on the menu are not very well displayed and limited. There are far better sushi restaurants around town which are cheaper and offer variety with tasty food.
