SUSHI-BAR Tatsumi Osamu Yamashita

We spent a wonderful evening at the Tatsumi with our Japanese friends. The restaurant is rather small but very nice and simply furnished. The sushi is fresh and tastes excellent, you can choose from a large selection of different specialties which leaves nothing to be desired. The HOKKAIDO and SASHIMI MORI are absolutely recommendable. The service staff was always friendly and helpful. An early reservation is mandatory. Also keep in mind that on weekends you have to leave the table after two hours.

This is the place my bf and I often drive specially from Zurich to just have our Sushi cravings satisfied. When you see Japanese chefs preparing the sushis and only Asian chefs in the kitchen, you know you are in safe hands! Their sushi platters are huge and so tantalising we often can't make up our mind what to order. Reservations should be made in advanced as they are often packed. I also really love all the detailed Japanese decorations in their shop :

After suggestion from someone we decided to travel 150 km to visit this small Japanese restaurant. We didn't regret. Very tasteful sushi with fresh fish and interesting creations. A small team in a small place who are doing a great job. We didn't have a reservation but we still found a place to sit. The prices are really good. We will visit again.

The service is very friendly and you feel like in beetween family. The sushi menu for lunch is awesome, the amount, the price and the quality is just really good. The only thing I could mention to improove is that the service or waiters with long hair should not wear their hair loosely... However, I really love this place.

Osamu is the most authentic and best Sushi chef in Konstanz. Outstanding quality doesn‘t bother you in case you may need to wait a little.
