Sushi Hama - Reserva de mesa

I'm a huge fan of sushi so I was excited to try Sushi Hama. Before I grabbed my order I went to the liquor store and got a bottle of sake to go with my dinner. I stuck to nigiri and sashimi, with a miso soup to start things off. The fish was very fresh and delicious. Generous portions as well. My only thought would be, when the chef is making nigiri to put the wasabi on the inside. I also understand that's not something everyone enjoys. I'm very happy they had toro and a good selection of other fish to choose from. I would fully support uni, oysters, or anything else that's a bit more adventurous. I will definitely be going back and am thankful for a place like this in a small town. Kanpai!

Okay, I've eaten before, and it's absolutely wonderful. but I have always tried to call them to command one, and they will not pick up. my family and I have been trying for two days. call them after the call, and no one has picked up. I'm kind of mad, I just want a statement. if there's a good reason, I'd totally understand. but if they don't answer the phone. then I'll be mad at her. I want sushiiiiiiii. also, I do terrible because they don't pick up, not eating that is bad. because it's really good to eat, so I really want to eat here if they'd just pick up the phone.

The best sushi North of Nanaimo! I honestly don't understand how even their salmon sashimi can be so amazing compared to others, yet it really is the greatest. I haven't had anything from them that isn't amazing, and their prices are good. They don't have the largest selection of special rolls; as we avoid certain types of fish, there are only a few options we can choose from. Even so, we exclusively order from here since the quality is so consistently great. Highly recommended.

we were at 5:45 on Tuesday. They only do takeout now, but at 5:45 said they could not give up any more, although they were open for almost three more hours. there are only few if you can eat on Tuesday. we went to the food store and heated dinge in a microwave in our hotel. I saw other people in our hotel with food bag, I guess the message is not her on qualicum beach on a Tuesday. Reserva una mesa ahora

Excellent sushi! We loved the tempura prawns and yams and monkey brain too. No pictures of those. We ate them as our appetizers. Serving sizes are good and the prices are fair. We recommend this place for the food and friendly staff Drinks not included with the meal! This was our Anniversary meal.

Great place for sushi, we drove 20 minutes from where we were staying just to order from here on our vacation. It was definitely worth the trip. The food tasted great and the staff are super friendly. Will come back next time I visit the island.

Best sushi in town! Always super fresh and the best prices you’ll find. Peter and sunny are incredibly kind people and its always worth supporting a local family! I’ve never had something from sushi Hama I didn’t love.

After a number of disappointing meals in other places on the island, this was a fab accidental find. Fresh and delicious Japanese, excellent portions and value. Highly recommend if you want Japanese cuisine! Reserva una mesa ahora

BEST sushi I’ve ever had! No idea how they make it taste so good but I am officially hooked! It will be really hard to eat sushi anywhere else now.

This is hands down some of the best sushi around! Staff is amazing and the food is to die for, definitely worth a visit!!
