The restaurant owner will see a 4-star rating due to the price point and the staff. However, huge compliments to the chef who prepared our sushi that evening. Although I didn't catch his name, he was an older gentleman. The sushi prices here are $4-$8 higher compared to other sushi spots in the area, and the selection is slightly limited. Despite this, the food was delicious. It took nearly 90 minutes to receive our order of 6 rolls, but the restaurant was quite busy. We were informed that two chefs had called in sick, leaving only one chef to handle everything. He apologized sincerely for the delay. Our bill for 5 rolls and chicken teriyaki totaled $110. I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. Even though I wasn't in the mood for sushi, I decided to try the Japanese Tenderloin cooked medium rare. The meat was juicy and perfectly cooked to my liking. We also tried the crab rolls and roasted dumplings, which were beautifully presented. My friend ordered the surf and turf roll and Cali roll, and he said they were both delicious. The waiter was attractive and well-spoken, and the chef even came out to ensure our steak was prepared correctly. I will definitely be visiting the Sushi Bar in Wyandotte again.
The overall experience was wonderful, I was not in the mood for sushi so I ordered the the Japanese tenderloin medium rare. The meat was cook perfectly tender juicy and ful of flavor. We ordered crab egg roll and fried dumplings, the appetizers were presented beautifully. Rae ordered the surf and turf roll and Cali roll, he said they were both very good. The waiter was very attractive and well spoken. The chef even came out to ask of the steak was prepared correctly. I will visit the shush bar in Wyandotte again.
This place used to be good but not anymore. Sushi is not good, and overpriced. If it was good I really don’t mind spending over $100 for basic rolls, but the rice tasted really old and it had a weird aftertaste. The manager definitely lacks managerial skills, the servers were walking around inattentive to their tables so all our orders came in late, they even messed up our drinks. What a fabulous first time Sushi experience we had last night! The owner graciously gave us personal instructions on how to use chopsticks (maybe more than once, lol) our beautiful waitress was knowledgeable and sweet, the cocktails were delicious and the food was divine. We will definitely return for more!
we enjoyed the best lunch and sushi and drinks and good birthday service for my best friend! sara and alicia were very hospitable and amazing. we will be absolutely back! great food, quality, best sushi in michigan I had ever hang down. more importantly, I could get the music!
