I visited this restaurant for the first time in about five years. The last time I was here was right after their All You Can Eat promotion ended, and I found the prices to be high and the food not very tasty. Today, I decided to give them another try. The service was exceptionally friendly, both the server and cashier were great. The restaurant was very clean and everything was continuously sanitized. They have a large cherry blossom plant in the middle of the tables, which was beautiful but a bit inconvenient as it was hard to avoid hitting it with my shoulders and head when moving around. This restaurant offers reasonably priced and delicious authentic sushi. It is located right on HWY 97 in downtown Vernon, making it convenient for diners. However, parking can be a challenge as there is only street parking available. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant are lovely, with a fairly open kitchen and booths for more privacy. The sushi was served quickly and tasted fresh with a beautiful presentation. In addition to tea and Sapporo beer, there are many other drink options available. The service was super friendly, making for a great dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a sit-down option and a fantastic dish of sushi in Vernon.
Really good and fresh sushi. Probably the second best sushi place I’ve ever been too. The mango paradise was very good with a tiny hint of spice while being a bit sweet with the mango slices, the rainbow rolls were good and my personal favourite was the unagi rolls, Great tasting sauce and the unagi was perfect. If I ever come to Vernon again this place is a must go!
The beginning was a bit awkward, but we were very satisfied with the mango paradise roll and Alaska roll. My partner ordered the red dragon and beauty beast rolls, both of which were delicious. Looked good when reading the reviews, the sushi was good, and we liked the ambiance.Our initial server was a pleasant blond young lady, but a shortish-haired Asian woman took over.She was rude, short, uncaring, and devoid of any real emotion. My wife commented before I even said anything.Wild horses couldn't drag me back for more of that treatment.
