Sushi Kinoya - Reservar una mesa

Long Beach Lakewood sushi has several levels, there's the budget (Awesome Sushi, I Luv Sushi), the mid level to nice (Kihon, Fusion, Kara) the top shelf Michelin worthy (Sushi Nikkei which is theeeee best). I give Kinoya the award for most authentic. Kinoya and Nikkei are our faves. Kinoya has weird hours, you know why? They're so busy they can. It's a very humble establishment but the food is so good. The salmon hand roll melts in your mouth. My husband loves that their spicy tuna roll comes with a chili oil which makes it stand out. I also notice quite a few Japanese guests when I'm here which to me, signifies their legitimacy. My go to meal is the chirashi bowl or salmon hand roll and Bos...

The one and only sushi joint I go to in LBC, going on 20 years now.Legit in terms of quality and freshness. (Unlike some places that distract from un-fresh poor quality by smothering with sauces!)They also get fresh uni from Santa Barbara when in season which speaks to the authenticity of the place—but do call in advance for it!Staff including owner/chefs and servers are always very gracious and welcoming.

First time at Kinoya on Saturday it certainly won't be out last! We live walking distance from here; not sure how it took us this long to eat here but I am so glad we did. Great service, adorable decor inside and most importantly FRESH, delicious sushi!

First time here! Service was friendly and fast. The sushi was high quality and a very good value. A little hole in the wall that I wouldn't mind visiting more often...especially since I live so close.Highly recommended!
