Sushi Nami - Reserva de mesa

This restaurant has generally been just average. While their sushi isn't exceptional, it has been conveniently located. However, their service has deteriorated recently. The second-to-last time we visited, we arrived half an hour before closing, and they refused to let us in. On our most recent visit, it took them thirty minutes just to take our drink order. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, Lin, she became quite upset and insisted that, because they were busy, we should be patient with the delays. To make matters worse, she tried to add a tip to our bill without our consent. Overall, this experience felt very unprofessional and immature.

On my second visit, the service was poor and almost rude, which was unwarranted. During my third visit, I was shocked to find that a gratuity had been automatically added to my bill because they claimed I hadn’t tipped enough during my previous visit — which is simply untrue, as I always leave a 20% tip. Additionally, the wait times have been unacceptable. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

This restaurant has become quite pricey. I visited for lunch and ordered a basic crunchy roll and a tuna nigiri, along with a water, and it came to $22, which totaled $27 with the tip. I get that we’re dealing with inflation, but these prices are steep enough for me to consider skipping this place in the future.
