Sushi Nami Sandy Springs

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I went with friends and sampled a few sushi rolls that were only mediocre; I had hoped for more exciting flavor combinations. The biggest disappointment, however, was the takeout I ordered. I chose the teriyaki beef, which turned out to be merely a piece of steak served on a bed of vegetables with a thin, watery sauce. Both my boyfriend and I ended up with upset stomachs and are still feeling the aftermath. While the service was a bit slow, the server was friendly, so I have no complaints about him. Unfortunately, the food just didn’t justify the price.

The food was just mediocre and not worth the price. The eel roll was essentially a California roll with a bit of eel sauce on top. The hey king roll was passable, but I was worried about the restaurant's cleanliness because of some unusual smells. The pork katsu bowl was quite disappointing; the pork katsu was both soggy and tough, which made it seem like it had been reheated. It lacked the traditional katsu gravy and instead came with rice that had an overpowering ginger taste and strangely cooked onions. I wouldn’t go back to this restaurant.

The restaurant's interior was more spacious than I had anticipated, and the food was truly outstanding and very fulfilling. The spicy mayo complemented the calamari perfectly, and the honey brought out the flavors of the coconut shrimp beautifully. The waitress was warm and attentive throughout our visit. I also appreciated the house salad with ginger dressing; it was delightful, and I really enjoyed its texture. I wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

I have witnessed a rapid decline at this restaurant. After 10 years, this will be my final visit. It seems they are compromising on quality to cut costs, yet their prices have gone up! The presentation was once beautiful, and the side dishes were fresh and colorful. Now, it's just sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, onions, and steamed broccoli. I had a fantastic date at this restaurant, and I hadn’t even known about it before. The service was outstanding, even though we got there just before closing time. We tried the avocado fries, veggie rolls, and fried rice, and everything was delicious. I also loved the laid-back atmosphere.

The sushi here is excellent and fairly priced. The staff is friendly and attentive. Although it might not be the trendiest location, it has the comforting charm of a dependable neighborhood sushi restaurant that you can always rely on.

This is the best sushi restaurant! The prices are excellent, and the food is outstanding. I can't recommend it enough. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food is genuinely delicious—absolutely scrumptious!

I had the tuna poke, and it was amazing! The big volcano rolls and the degree rolls were outstanding as well. I will definitely be returning!
