How this place has 4+ stars is completely beyond me. I sincerely hope the poor quality of the order we got was just one-off and happens extremely rarely. I ordered Temaki (cone), sashimi, and some nigiris. The quality of tuna sashimi is probably the lowest you can expect other budget sushi places, although I felt like even sushi garden had better quality tuna. Toro was just no good as it wasn't even close to what they offer even at other Korean budget sushi places like sushi garden/town. What astonished me the most is the quality of rice which is why I gave it 1 star. It's basically either half cooked or had been in the fridge for too long. It's unacceptable even by the lowest standard. Also, the size of the cones is just too small. I hope restaurants stop with the shrinkflation bs to fish you with the price but offer smaller portion. Just raise the price, and offer standard portion. I rarely give this harsh of a review but having eaten at so many sushi places in the Lower Mainland, this one was really surprised me in a bad way.

Pretty good for a neighbourhood joint. Korean-operated, so it will not be on the same level as Japanese-owned places. The rice they use for instance is not Japanese, so if you are Asian, or a Japanese food enthusiast, you will notice. I got the appetizer tempura to start, and it was light, crisp and greaseless, pretty good. But again, no grated daikon in the dipping sauce, a small yet important Japanese detail. Then for my main I had their chirashi don, which was fine except for the aforementioned rice issue (not Japanese). So all in all, 4 stars. I'd eat there again, with expectations lowered.

My girlfriend and I love coming here to get the Nova sushi combo or the Tokyo combo for only $33. The food is delicious, the price is great, and the serving size is perfect to share between 2 people. The restaurant is also pleasant to dine in, though it might get warm on a hot day.

Great little spot for sushi. Huge selection with a never ending menu. There is a brown rice option as well. The Goma ae is really delicious and a large portion. I also got the Nova Roll, it was the right amount of spice and beautiful texture. Good prices and lovely staff.
