I was initially excited when I first dined at this restaurant with my family. We had a good experience and started to come back regularly. We were happy to have a reliable sushi place nearby. However, recently, there have been some issues. I noticed a negative attitude from some of the staff and the crab tasted off when I took my daughter there last week. My daughters, who love sushi, were disappointed because they had never had bad sushi before. We were torn between returning to this restaurant and our usual spot, Asya, where we have never had any problems. The waiter we had yesterday was great, but I could see not all staff members cared as much. Despite my intuition telling me otherwise,...

I have to revise my earlier review. One rarely goes back to a bad restaurant but if a good one degrades you keep on going back hoping for improvements. Sushi+ used to be a great place. I have been there many times. The last 3 times, yes I gave them 3 chances, they have been poor. In particular their service and attitude has changed with success. After 3 times, I am done. The specifics are: Taste: 3 something is not as good as it was with their sushi Quality: 3 again, degraded Quantity: 3 this was their strong point that they brought reasonable portions no more Presentation: 3 ok Parking: 4 generally not difficult to park Service: 1 this area has really degraded Atmosphere: 3 same as before W...

Well, I seemed to have missed the mark this time. Despite being a popular spot, this restaurant is actually Korean owned. I heard the owner speaking Japanese before. I stopped by for a quick dinner and unfortunately, I was not impressed with the flavor. The nabeyaki was too salty and the chicken dish was lackluster. I ordered two rolls, but both the salmon and mango on top were poorly cut, as if done by an inexperienced chef. I wondered if they were training new staff. The servers were different from usual, with an ajima (older aunt, possibly the female owner) and a Hispanic lady attending to us. I tried the teriyaki kids meal, which was decent. However, I would have preferred less sauce as...

We used to love coming here before the pandemic. Friendly staff, a local neighborhood sushi place that was packed all the time. And we ordered takeout during the pandemic as well to support them. Food has always been good. So we finally decided to eat hereindoors since its been over two years. We were disappointed, food is still great, but their focus is mostly on takeout now, soit took a while to get our order. They only give you bottled water, which is not environmentally friendly. The ginger and wasabiare also served in a plastic container. We hope things will return to the way it was pre-pandemic...for now, they made theplace feel like an expensive fast food place. Visited over the weekend and was petty disappointed. Since I was last there it appears they have transitioned to primarily a take out restaurant. So much so that the service for dining-in suffered greatly. Two of our order items were completely missedand the server was mostly busy with handling of all the many take out orders. A third item came very late. If you have anothersushi place you like, I'd remove this restaurant from your rotation.

Came for take out. They hid a 3.5% operational surcharge which feels super deceptive. We only realized after looking at the receipt and then searching for the tiny footnote on the menu after we got home. Borderline fraud. Just raise your prices. Wetipped 18% on take out too. Smh Other than that, food is mid and service is slow

No free water with meal. Seriously? For $18-19 a plate and I have to pay for bottled water? Pathetic. I bought green tea, and yet had to fill up a water bottle in the bathroom. If I wasn't so tired I would've left. And only options for tipping 18% andup. Not from area. Looked like it was mostly a takeout operation

Takeout order: 7/10 Salmon Hawaiian Poki $16 salmon with seaweed salad basically. Decent serving size but mainly seaweed. Everything was fresh but average in taste. 5/10 Miso Soup $4 on the salty side! Very little bits of tofu and seaweed. Definitely can pass on this. Reserva una mesa ahora

This restaurant is located in a beautiful plaza and offers delicious Japanese dishes. I ordered a large bento box which included chicken teriyaki, salad, miso soup, tempura, and salmon sashimi. The salmon sashimi was a pleasant surprise with its thick slices.
