We dropped in here for a quick bite before a movie. I liked the polished wooden seats, they certainly uplifted the look of the restaurant.
The ipad ordering system here works well allowing you to see the progress of your order.
Because we ordered items rather than taking anything off the train we enjoyed our freshly made sushi items, however flavourwise we have had better and there was too much mayonnaise. There was also some inconsistency in production, with our seared salmon sushi being better seared than our seared scallop sushi.
Overall we enjoyed our meal, but this is not one of the better sushi trains out there.
excellent value for money and it's impossible to leave hungry - they do not cut on quality or quantity, this is a local haunt for us, I think it's pretty safe to say everything on the menu is excellent. I think I've been convinced now to buy a blow torch and home to try and mimic their aburi. everything is made fresh to order in front of you. this is an example of a restaurant doing things right!!
We Love this place!! Honestly we think its the best place in Brisbane by far. Great for kids and families. The food is first class and the staff are just so accommodating and friendly especially with the little ones. The beef and cheese rolls are amazing, as are their egg rolls and Nigiri - Yuuuuuuum!!
As the store was full inside, they offered seats outside. Then the staff showed us how to order using the Ipad and the service was prompt. If the food was not on the train it was freshly made for you. Better than sitting inside and waiting for the food to go around, loved the ease of ordering.

Good variety of sushi. The ordering system is great and we got our food very quickly after we ordered it. The sushi was fresh and tasted great. The staff were very friendly and service was prompt. My partner and I will always drop in here before or after a movie.
Haven't been here in a while but have frequented sushi train Bulimba over the years. Have gotten food poisoning here once and 4 other people I know have as well. Would not recommend.
One of the best places for trying sushi. So tasty and fresh! Ordering on iPad makes it super easy! Will definitely visit every time I go to the cinemas.
the food is actually great, the vegetable tempura is what i have to keep going back for. ambience is not grand, but its still worthwhile going back

Great fresh sushi. Right next door to the cinema. They now have iPads to order on as well as selecting from the train. Very affordable too!
Very busy but good sushi and friendly service. Kids love the individual IPADs to self order on tables
