Sushi Suma Surry Hills

Visited this place on Saturday night for the first time and quite enjoyed the experience. Being a Saturday night expected it to be very busy but it was not.It is a casual basic place with pleasant staff who provided good friendly service. The food, while not the best Japanese I have had, was very enjoyable, fresh and plentiful. The kitchen appeared to be very well staffed so the turn around time from ordering to it being served to the table was very acceptable.Overall an enjoyable experience.

Can you imagine waiting for over a hour and when your at the front of the line they start serving people behind you? That's what happened here and when I asked about it,it was if I wasn't standing there! They made some excuse and still took people behind me,we didn't end up eating here and for good reason

This place is a little known gem. Cheap fresh large servings of sushi and sashimi with friendly service. Spent $50 for two people and couldn't finish it all. Will definitely be coming back again

An iconic Japanese restaurant along Cleveland St in Surry Hills. Very busy but food is always fresh. 28 pieces sashimi combination for $20 is a giveaway.

Been here so many time and I can never get sick of it. Love the sashimi salad. It's value for the money.
