Sushi Train Neutral Bay

This is actually my first time writting a negative review for any restaurant. Made me think that its worth spending my time leaving negative feedback. Asked for a booth seating but staff named ( Hiro ) aggressively rudely insisted to sit where its available. At this point we tried to be understanding and have open mind towards business's perspective. Next we were approached by a female staff who rudely demanded/instructed us to sit which we refused and told that we'll wait. Her response to this was 'WAIT! THEN'. At this point we decided to leave. With this ugly disgusting customer service we were convinced that food will be disgusting and ugly too. Wouldnt you rather be served appropriately...

Luckily we visited early on a friday night because it got really busy. Strangely, it was filled with families with small kids! There were people waiting for tables the whole time we were there. We ordered several hot dishes off the menu so it was freshly cooked, rather than getting them off the train. The beef carpaccio & sushimi were delicious & tender. Some of the sushi tasted the same though & the edamame were bland, although fresh. We had 3 large sake in total, but the 3rd bottle came in a smaller looking bottle & didnt serve as much as the previous 2. We asked the waiter & were told it contained the same amount of sake- which is clearly didnt! The total was $150 for 3 people, 3 bottles...

I live in the area but hadn't visited Sushi Train before . My first visit yesterday for an early lunch was pleasantly surprising. There was quite a bit of choice (more than most) and service was fast and efficient. The restaurant itself is inviting. This Sushi Train has a few dishes that may be classed as NOT totally authentic Japanese but in an area surrounded by many good Japanese restaurants this isn't a problem for me. The prices aren't the cheapest compared to some in the city or Chatswood but they are OK.I will be going back for sure !

This place is always buzzing, busy and ready for any request! Ok! so you may have to wait but it is worth it! Grab some tasty plates from the conveyor belt or peruse the menu for optional treats. Love the salmon sashimi from the menu. Funny how those little plates can pile high when the children are dining here too! The service is fast and the quality is amazing. Will keep coming back! Western version of a sushi train place to eat - most of the sushi seemed to be variations of California rolls with limited simple fish sushi. Not cheap for what you get - wouldn't go back. Really caters to the middle class locals for a night out.The Japanese take away opposite IGA at Cremorne Junction is much better.

Sushi Train provides a standard sushi offering that is usually fairly consistent in quality. The service is good. You can also get takeaway.

Love the food. Been there many times and the food are still of the same quality. It's one of my favorite Sushi Train. Will be back!

Love the atmosphere and the FOOD! We go here regularly. Sometimes there is a bit of a queue for dinner- but worth it.

On aime le principe, très bon rapport qualité prix. Facile et convivial. Très pratique pour le quartier de Cremorne.
