Sushi Yoi - Reserva de mesa

TL;DR oshi sushi for $7.95? I love it!<br/ <br/ This place is a bit of a hidden gem in Burnaby. They have an awesome combo deal for $10.45 and you get to pick 3 items off a set menu. The portions are generous and for the most part fairly fresh.<br/ <br/ The reason why I really like this place is their oshi sushi, which is similar to what Miku is famous for but without the ridiculous price. Comparing this to Greenleaf on Broadway, definitely not the same flare in terms of presentation but portions are larger and it tastes good! <br/ <br/ Service is great, they got some young servers eager to please (think first job kids) and the free underground parking nearby is a bonus.

After multiple failed attempts at eating here (closed every time! , I was finally able to come on a day they were open! I came here after work with A for a much needed catch up session!. Aburi oshi sushi is one of my favourite things to eat, so when I saw that they offered it here I knew I had to check this place out. This place has been around for a pretty long time and I always pass it on my way to Sushi Garden, but I never thought to come here until I saw some pretty delicious photos of Instagram.

This place is hidden on Rosser Ave across Whole Foods. I think it's an underreated sushi place since it's not exactly on Lougheed or Hastings. The fish is fresh, the cooked items are good what's not to like? Sashimi is very good quality and a very good portion. One of my favorites on the menu was the grilled squid, marinated well and very tender a must try. My absolute favorite here are the oshi. They do oshi and very well too. My favorite is the Saba Oshi I highly recommend it!

Sushi Yoi is a popular Japanese restaurant on Rosser Street in Burnaby, next to a beautiful grove of Japanese cherry blossom trees (making it a perfect spot for lunch in the spring). After hearing good things about it, we decided to try it out for lunch in mid-November. I don't understand why people are saying negative things. I frequently order from this restaurant for work lunches and it is consistently excellent. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. The Croquettes are fantastic! The rolls are consistently good and the teriyaki is mouthwatering. The all day menu offers a great variety of tasty food at a fantastic value.

Read great reviews about this cozy place,ordered the Deluxe Combo OMFG!!! it was fantastic (forget Sushi Garden and the long wait) there was plenty of seating and the service was very attentive i would highly recommend this place please keep in mind street parking is limited

Always fresh and good service when I visit. They sushi is unique and delicious in a area with no shortage of food from all over the world. It's been my go to for last 3 years. Black dragon, red dragon, tuna twilight, house are my favourite rolls and the appies always slap

I got charge 2 dollars for asking for more salmon tempura sauce and they send just a small tsp of the sauce. it is not fair. besides, I said no miso soup and they send them Reserva una mesa ahora

Sushi Yoi is consistently and always good. They are fast, have lots of variety on the menu and delicious! This is my go to sushi spot!
