Sushihana Japanese

Finally found the closest to fresh sushi I've come across in San Antonio. Coming fromm California and Hawai'i, I have been spoiled by the freshest of fresh. I resigned myself to accepting what was available. After many people suggested Sushihana, I tried it and was very pleased. To start, they have a very comfortable and eye pleasing restaurant. The staff, from hostess to waiter, were all very friendly, personable and helpful. They have a great selection of sushi rolls to choose from as well as a full menu of other Japanese food like yakitori, fried rice, fish chicken and steak. I had only miso soup and sushi rolls my first visit, both which was very good

Hands Down BEST sushi in San Antonio. The only Sushi place in San Antonio that can cater to high end sushi enthusiasts such as myself (admitted sushi snob) and Roll Lovers as well. Oh, and if you don’t eat anything that had a mother, ask for a Vegan experience. Ask for the Avocado Balls...Best Ever! I travel all over the country for work and try to seek out the best sushi experience where ever I go (expensive hobby). I would put this place among my top 3 in the country! Just go, sit at the sushi bar closest to the kitchen and ask for the resident Sushi maestro Nelson and enjoy the great service and high quality Sushi from Sushihanna San Antonio!

Best sushi restaurant in San Antonio! Only place with high quality, unique, and fresh fish! Their cooked food is awesome too (spicy edamame, scallops, hamachi kama, etc, etc)! I’m all about fresh, raw fish and sushihana never disappoints. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and their sushi chefs know what they are doing! Chef Scott and Chef Nelson are awesome! They even do omakase if you ask, that way you can try a little bit of everything. If you’re in SA and want a quality dinner, this is the place to go!

This place is by far my daughters Favorite. We love it here. The Sushi is the best in town. And the other items are fantastic. I have had oysters on half shell they are fresh and salty. The scallops cooked perfect. And the service is as good as anywhere in town!
